MEGAN WALCH
Artist - Explorer
Thinking Through Paint.
Meg is a Tasmanian artist. Her practice uses painting as a mode of inquiry into perception, materiality and uncertainty. Across more than three decades, she has explored the fluid, viscous and plastic properties of painterly mediums.
Her work treats painting not simply as an image or object, but as a way of thinking - one that can unsettle assumptions, open new ways of seeing and give form to what is not yet known. Her studio is a laboratory where she investigates what painting can reveal about how we see, how we know, and how we make sense of an unstable world.
