Thinking Through Paint.

Through the fluid, viscous and plastic properties of paint, Tasmanian artist Meg Walch explores how we see, how we know, and how we make sense of an unstable world. Through a material-led studio practice, she treats painting and drawing as forms of thinking in which matter, perception and meaning continually shift and transform to unsettle assumptions, open new ways of seeing and give form to ambiguity and uncertainty. Her work invites us to question what we take for reality, opening onto a world more fluid, strange and mysterious than we might imagine.
